Lap-Tots
Lap Tots is a program for children aged up to 2 1/2 years old and their caregivers. It is a fun and cheerful interactive program of rhymes and songs for youngsters and their caregivers that bring people of common interests together.
Time: 10:00 to 10:30am
When: First and Third Friday of most months, October through June.

Registration is required for this program.
Rhyme Time
Story Time is a forty-five minute program designed for the enjoyment of the children and their caregivers. Rhyme Time helps children associate reading with pleasure and sets the foundation for language and learning.  Reading with your child sets a solid foundation for later learning.
Time: 1:30 - 2:15 pm
When: Wednesday or Thursday
Age: All children must be 2 years 6 months or older
Registration requirements: Two proofs of town residency, birth certificate, and immunization records.
Extended Story Hour
The purpose of the Extended Story Hour program is to introduce children to the wonderful world of libraries. A significant part of a child's intellectual capacity develops before going to school. The purpose of the program is to help children develop good listening, social, and motor skills, gain separation from their caregivers, and interact with their peers. Sharing stories and books helps children develop their vocabulary and understand the world around them.
Children 3 years - 3 1/2 years by September 1
Time: 9:15 to 11:00 am
When: Monday and Wednesday

When: Tuesday and Thursday
Registration requirements: Two proofs of town residency, birth certificate, and immunization records.
Chess Club
Join us for an afternoon of chess! Learn how to play the game and challenge your friends.
The Youth Chess Club is for beginners and experts, aged 7 years and up.
Please call the library about Chess Club times and dates. 
Reading Buddies
Bring your children, ages 3 to 7, to the library to be read to by middle and high school READING BUDDY volunteers. The students will read to your children and give you a chance to browse through the library. This program will run the last Friday of most months during the school year.

Time: 3:30 to 4:00pm
