Extended Story Hour
The purpose of the Extended Story Hour program is to introduce children to the wonderful world of libraries. A significant part of a child's intellectual capacity develops before going to school. The purpose of the program is to help children develop good listening, social, and motor skills, gain separation from their caregivers, and interact with their peers. Sharing stories and books helps children develop their vocabulary and understand the world around them.
Children 3 years - 3 1/2 years by September 1
Time: 9:15 to 11:00am
When: Monday and Wednesday

Requirements: Two proofs of town residency, birth certificate, and immunization records

Story Time is a one-hour program designed for the enjoyment of the children and their caregivers. Story Time helps children associated reading with pleasure and set the foundation for language and learning. Reading with your child sets a solid foundation for later learning.
Time: 1:00 to 2:00pm
When: Wednesday or Thursday
Age: All children must be 2 years 6 months or older
Requirements: Two proofs of town residency, birth certificate, and immunization records.

Entertainer John Fogarty's one man show "Singing and Swinging with You" is a musical celebration of the songs of Sinatra, Nat "King" Cole, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin the Big Bands and more. Some of your favorite tunes including "It Had To Be You", "Mack the Knife", "New York, New York" will have you swinging and swaying.
